General

Our furniture range involves a diverse range of materials to create unique pieces. Currently we predominantly work creating pieces out of timber, steel or a combination of the two. See our material library for examples.

Our general lead time for pieces purchased from our catalog without adjustments is 8 weeks. For pieces with customisations (e.g. dimensions, colours, materials) this extends to 12 weeks.

During busy periods such as Christmas our lead time is 10-12 weeks.

All Proxima pieces are designed in Collingwood and made by us in our workshop in Coburg.

We have a showroom located at 187 Johnston Street Collingwood with a large range of our products. Open from 12-5.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays, 12-4:30pm on Saturdays or by appointment. You can see what is currently in stock in store here

All of our timber is sourced in Melbourne at various timber yards. We predominantly work with American timber - Walnut, Oak, White Ash.

We can also work with Australian sourced hardwoods on request.

All of our timber is FSC Certified.

Our custom process involves a lot of communication with the client to assess their needs. To begin email us with an enquiry outlining what you are after.

From there we will be in communication so as to decide on a design and get an understanding of what you are after

Once we have a clear idea we will complete a site visit which will include taking measurements and assessing access.

following this we will get back to you with some drawings and quotes to decide from.

Once you have decided on a final design we will send through an invoice and begin work upon receiving a deposit.

Lead times for custom work varies.

Shipping

For small homewares that are in stock we try to get your order shipped within 3 days of receiving it.

We use Australia Post to ship smaller homeware pieces.

Standard (Victoria): 2-4 business days

Standard (Interstate): 3-6 business days

Express (Victoria): 1-2 business days

Express (Interstate): 1-3 business days
